All South African bats are protected by law and EcoSolutions is the only GDARD permitted bat exclusion company in South Africa.
In order to provide you with a quote to exclude your bats, we first need to arrange a site visit. The site visit is undertaken in the evening and includes a consultation with the homeowner, site inspection and a dusk survey.
From the site visit, we will be able to identify the bat species and their IUCN conservation status, determine their entry and egress points, and establish the size of the bat colony and the meterage and materials required. On completion of the consultation, you will receive a comprehensive report detailing the process and the costs.
As stipulated in our permit from GDARD, EcoSolutions will install a bat box on your property to provide compensation for the excluded colony.
