Installing an owl box is only the first step. For an owl box to remain safe, suitable and effective for nesting owls, it needs to be serviced annually. This package includes the installation of one owl box, followed by five years of annual servicing by the EcoSolutions team.
Each annual service includes checking the structure and condition of the box, refreshing the nesting substrate, cleaning where needed, treating for bees, checking for signs of owl activity, collecting pellets where available, and carrying out minor maintenance to help keep the box suitable for future breeding seasons.
